House Cleaning

  1. BulletThe offense is a defense. Prevention is the best way to tackle housework.

  2. BulletDon’t allow food anywhere in the house, except the table. No drinks, except water, out of the kitchen.

  3. BulletUse sippy cups whenever possible.

  4. BulletVinegar is an excellent, non-toxic cleaner. The smell fades fairly quickly.

  5. BulletSwiffers are awesome on hard surfaces. Make sure the floor is completely dry – it will drag on a wet spot.

  6. BulletSwiffer refills are expensive. I use a Viva paper towel instead.

  7. BulletThe age of your kids, determines the quantity and quality of chores you can assign them.

  8. BulletI use push-ups for rule breakers - like food in the room. It’s less traumatic than a spanking, but equally effective.

  9. BulletMagic eraser can get rid of most scuffmarks on walls. Do not use on shiny surfaces or wood!!!!

Laundry
